That leaves a gap between the two, and a shim fills it. You glue the shim inside the reel seat, in the size that matches yours (16 or 18).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat's why it's a very good choice if you're unsure about your blank's diameter. Nothing complicated, but it is a step you don't skip. The ribbed interior then does its job, and the epoxy grips better.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eTrigger, rear grip and ring\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe trigger is molded as one piece with the body of the reel seat, with a smooth profile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor compatibility, the TCS works with RRG80-type rear grips and WCC-type rings. So you can pair it with a casting RRG rear grip and a WCC ring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd what about contact with the blank? There is none, it is a full reel seat.
