Measure the blank where the reel seat will be glued, then pick the \u003cstrong\u003einside diameter just below\u003c\/strong\u003e. A blank at 12.8 mm there? Go for the 12.5 mm. The inside diameter is readable on the back of the reel seat, so no guesswork.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen the reamer does the job. You widen the inside so the reel seat slides down into contact with the blank, right where you want it. That said, it stays light work, so don't skip several diameters. All that's left is to glue it, aligned with the spine of the blank, and close the build with a finish ring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCompatible with 27 mm grips\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ACSM works with \u003cstrong\u003e27 mm grips\u003c\/strong\u003e, so your handle choice stays open.
