Are blank rings corrosion-resistant?

At Fuji, all Guides are fitted with an Inox frame, offering minimum compatibility for Saltwater fishing. However, titanium reinforcement is also available, ensuring total resistance to corrosion.

What are the different scion ceramics available?

Rodhouse offers a variety of about ten different Guide ceramics. Among the best-known, from the most affordable to the most high-end, are Alconite, SIC and Torzite.

Are scion rings susceptible to oxidation?

As a general rule, Guide rings are not susceptible to oxidation if the necessary precautions are taken. However, it is important to note that titanium guides are reputed to be 100% rustproof and resistant to oxidation, offering a more durable and suitable solution.
