This fly rod is designed for 2-handed SPEY casts in search of large Salmon.The tip action is particularly suited to Scandi and Skagit silks.
The handle of this rod has been designed with Top Flor quality cork from a family farm in Portugal that has had a relationship with Gary for decades. Guide Mike McCoy Snake Brand and blank fly NFC "LMX" unsanded and matte, accented with light blue thread Wrappings.

All our rods have their Guides mounted on the blank's straightest axis. The rods sold on the Edge Rods Europe website are the genuine Gary Loomis brand. These products are handmade directly in the brand's American factories. Edge fishing rods are made of carbon, so we strongly advise against fishing in stormy weather due to the electrical conductivity of carbon.
