Curado BFS

The Curado BFS (Bait Finesse System) is designed for light finesse fishing and uses FTB (Finesse Tune Brake) technology and an ultra-light, shallow spool designed to cast light lures more effectively than traditional low-profile models.
If you've tried fishing with very small lures on a traditional reel, you'll understand the limitations. Often, the reel simply isn't sensitive enough to effectively cast lures weighing 5g and under, which is where the Curado BFS comes in. The light casting performance of the Curado BFS is ensured by the FTB (Finesse Tune Braking) system. This consists of a set of magnets housed in the handleless side plate, which apply a force to the inner surface of the reel spool. Turning the brake adjustment knob moves the magnets either towards the inside of the spool (more braking force) or towards the outside, but there are no moving parts on the spool itself, which explains why it can rotate so freely with so little force. The addition of S3D coil design and Super Free Spool technology further enhances performance. Internal precision gears, bearings and X-SHIP provide smooth, efficient winding power, and overall weight is reduced by the use of a HAGANE aluminum body.
