As a professional fisherman and fishing guide abroad for over 25 years, I embarked on the rodbuilding experience because I could not find equipment suited to my fishing techniques. Knowing the head of Rodhouse, Mister Goulven, for many years, I asked him if, by any chance, he would be interested in working on a blank intended for professional bluefin tuna line fishing. A true “gentleman”, he responded favorably to my request, and that is how this adventure began.

Our expertise enabled us to design a product that lived up to our expectations. We had the blank, but it still had to be built; so I initially started by assembling my own rods and, over time, fellow fishermen asked me to build theirs as well. Today, I assemble a large portion of the rods intended for professional bluefin tuna line fishing along the Atlantic coast.
