Blank travel popping for Saltwater fishing.
Blanks are constructed from blends of materials (IM, HM and X-ray). This means that one section of a blank may comprise two or three different materials to achieve a specific stiffness.
Blanks are not sanded for durability during transport, the outer resin layer is stronger than any secondary coating/paint.
The decal areas are adorned with a cosmetic envelope of prepreg which, when covered with an epoxy finish, gives a clean look where the carbon pattern shines through the finish.
The ends of the shanks are precision-ground, ensuring a perfect fit every time. Depending on the model, the type of shank can be straight or inverted (one or the other is used depending on the stiffness of the blank to reduce flats at the ferrule). On some Blanks, an inverted/step up/butt over tip shank is used to preserve the original action of the blank.

A 4-axis reinforcement is visible on the second strand between 64.5 and 84.5cm from the butt. The position of this reinforcement may vary slightly.

Après un refus des tubes par EWA …. J ai monté les 797/795/794 …. Mais quel bonheur…. Le 795 … On oublie vraiment que c’est une Multi brin ! On pêche toute la journée sans fatiguer …. Les lancer ne ruinent pas votre dos , les distances de lancer sont incroyables et elle est robuste ( une carangue GT de 40kgs , un thazard énorme …. Elle a pas bougé !
Les blanks travel c’est lourd, avec une action sans âme.
Mais ça c’était avant… avant que Al Jackson se penche sur le sujet.
La série SWP destinée aux pêches Exo est terrible, et le 60lbs le plus réussi de la série d’après moi.
Ça lance sur la lune, il est super à l’aise au popping, y compris à très grosse cup comme le Cono 120 et très à l’aise sur les sticks jusqu’à 130-140Grs.
Il m’a rentré une GT de 35 kilos sans coup férir baie du courrier à Madagascar.
Il sera parfait pour toutes les destinations « beaucoup de petits poissons » type Rodrigue ou Bijagos.
Une main de fer dans un gant de velour, léger, plaisant et autoritaire quand il faut tirer dessus.
Ne pas chercher plus loin, c’est un sans faute.
