How to varnish a fishing rod?

To varnish a fishing rod, we recommend using a 50/50 epoxy varnish. Apply the varnish with a brush to a rotating rod, then leave to dry for 6 to 8 hours.

What's the difference between High Build and Low Build?

Low Build varnish is more fluid, allowing finer Wrapping. It is recommended for fly rods and light carnivorous rods. High Build, on the other hand, is thicker.

How do I restore a varnish cut that has crystallized?

To remedy crystallized rod varnish, one solution is to heat lightly in the microwave for 5-10 seconds, repeat if necessary.
