Leonel Pereira, a childhood passion turned into a brand

It all starts with Leonel Pereira and his love of sport fishing, which began in childhood. In 1993, he set up Artfishing SL in Catalonia. The firm now owns the Yuki and Fishus brands.

The early years were about importing. Leonel Pereira brought top quality braids from Japan, then built up a wide collection of lines. This link with Japan still shapes the range: the Neox fluorocarbon is made by Seaguar for Yuki.

In 2003, the company moved its offices and main buildings to Sitges. The goal was to improve service and grow abroad. Yuki relies on match anglers and holds the Yuki Masters surfcasting event. Rodhouse stocks its fluorocarbon and nylon lines.
