The 733 is excellent for both applications. And let's not forget the new oversized crankbaits that anglers have added to their gear to reach higher ground and increase prospecting areas. While you want a lighter tip to allow the lure to work naturally, you also want an extra reserve of power to handle bigger baits like the ⅝ ounce Fat Free Shad or big Bombers. It's all about leverage, and this rod makes the job easy.
