Contains a universal handle for reamer by hand, or can be fitted to a standard screwdriver chuck.

Spare sanding belts are supplied with the Kit.

an essential for rod assembly

The 4 reamers Kit from Forecast is a must-have for rod assembly. These reamers enable you to enlarge the diameter of your elements (EVA grips, cork, carbon, handle elements, etc.) so that you can place them where you want them on your blank.

Forecast's 4-piece reamer set is a must-have for rod-fitting.

Our two main tips for use are:

Use clockwise (screw).
Do not use the small reamer in a screwdriver, or then slowly. Its small size makes it more fragile than the others.

KitAGE CONTENTS

Reamer Light: 6-9mm (0.236 inch to 0.354 inch)
Reamer Medium: 9-12mm (0.354 inch to 0.472 inch)
Reamer Large: 12-15mm (0.472 to 0.590 inch)
Reamer X-Large: 15-18mm (0.565 inch to 0.685inch)

A reamer can break if misused. This is why there is no warranty on reamers.
It's important not to use the reamer like a drill. The reamer must be broken in very regularly and progressively. Do not force the reamer. Friction with the grip causes the reamer to heat up. Allow the reamer to cool when it becomes hot to the touch. The reamer heats up even faster with cork grips. Because of its small diameter, the reamer Light is the most fragile. Use of the handle is recommended for the reamer Light.
