Product description
Travel blank designed for saltwater jigging.
The blanks are built using material blends (IM, HM and X-ray). This means that a section of a blank may contain two or three different materials to achieve a specific stiffness.
The blanks are left un-sanded to ensure greater durability during transport; the outer resin layer is more resistant than any secondary coating or paint.
The decal areas feature a cosmetic pre-preg wrap which, once covered with an epoxy finish, provides a clean appearance with the carbon pattern visible through the finish.
The ferrule ends are precision-ground to ensure a perfect fit every time. Depending on the model, the ferrule type may be straight or inverted (each is chosen according to the blank stiffness to reduce flat spots in the ferrule area). On some blanks, an inverted / step-up / butt-over-tip ferrule is used to preserve the original blank action.
A travel blank designed for saltwater jigging, but also suitable for casting within a 15–50 g lure weight range.
A 4-axis reinforcement is visible between 8 and 69.5 cm from the butt. The position of this reinforcement may vary slightly.
