Kit Fifty Niner

We offer 2 complete Kits, in different finish colors, to mount this Rodbuilders' Republic Fifty Niner blank.

This 8.1" (2m46), 40-120g power blank is perfectly suited to fishing for small tuna in the south of France. It will allow you to fish with comfort and efficiency for fish up to 35kg. Its Mod-Fast action makes it a super caster and a pleasure to fight. It will be just as effective with stickbaits as with poppers between 10 and 15cm. During tests, it was pushed to over 18kg at 45° but to remain consistent with the initial program and line diameters used, we recommend a max drag of 10kg.

The Kit consists of a Fuji PVC gimbal, a Fuji DPS18 reel seat, EVA grips, and Fuji Sic rings in Shiny gray Sic finish. The first "MN 40" Guide is to be mounted upside down.

You can cut the grips to any length you like, but the spacing chart is adapted for a 48cm reel foot so as to have 73cm between the reel foot and the stripper.
