 A reamer can break if misused. This is why there is no warranty on reamers.
It's important not to use the reamer like a drill and force it. The reamer needs to be deburred regularly and progressively. Friction with the grip causes the reamer to heat up. Allow the reamer to cool when it becomes hot to the touch. The reamer heats up even faster with cork grips. Because of its small diameter, the reamer Light is the most fragile. Use of the handle is recommended for the reamer Light.
