The max 30g rod for predators

There are a huge number of blanks available on the market in this power range, but there are a few models that stand out from the crowd. These are the tried-and-tested blanks that almost everyone agrees with, and which represent the top of the range on our site:

1. NFC MB 705 HM : 2m13 10-30g. One of Rodhouse's most successful blanks. An extremely versatile blank in terms of power range, strength and application. It has an incredible reserve of power and the resonance of a High Module NFC. Despite its fast action, it will forgive your fishing mistakes, within reason of course.
2. NFC MB 733-1 X-Ray :2m21 7-28g. The X-ray series is the latest NFC range. This blank is very pleasant in the hand, light and perfectly balanced. It's equally at home on hard bib lures and soft straight retrieves. If we had to find a small fault with it, it would be its ringed appearance, which is intended to provide extra resistance. It's not an ideal blank for Bottom bouncing, but it's very pleasant to use for animation or fighting.
3. Rodbuilders' Republic Statement 724 :2m18 5-25g. This very light blank (44g) is fast but not stiff. It is ideal for fishing where the lure is not pulled hard, such as Bottom bouncing or very light Drift and lift fishing. It will occasionally cast bib lures but will be less effective than the MB 733, or surface lures but not as well as the MB 705. This blank is said to have a high resonance, and when you try it, you'll quickly understand why!
