Barbel

Barbel are mainly caught in rivers. They can be caught using a variety of techniques, such as feeder fishing, soft lure fishing or using terrestrial imitations for fly fishing.

For Barbel lure fishing, we recommend using blanks in the same range as those used for Zander / Pike-perch, i.e. between 6.2 and 8'. On the other hand, for feeder fishing, blanks are generally between 10 and 13' long. Finally, for fly fishing, blanks between 9 and 10' are preferred.
