Choosing the perfect blank: length, action, power

Selecting a blank means first defining three key variables: the length (generally from 1.60 m to 4.20 m depending on the technique), the action (tip, moderate or parabolic) and the power (from UL to XXH depending on the species targeted). To guide you, in 2015 Rodhouse developed the Blank Comparator, a tool unique in the world that displays real curves under load from vectorised photographs, with no extrapolation, just reality.
