A very pleasant spinning rod in the hand, perfectly suited to pike-perch and Perch fishing with lures from 2 to 4" and for Sea bass fishing on sight or in a kayak.
This is an excellent all-round spinning rod. A good choice for deep-water Zander / Pike-perch fishing. The ISR 703 provides long distance casting and sufficient power for fishing with carolina assemblies. It's a good rod for deep worm or jig fishing, especially where there's current. Offshore anglers will appreciate its power for fighting snook and small tarpon and for casting jigs. The tapered blank gives you control and allows you to set hooks efficiently.
