The Fox Rage Replicant Wobble owes its reputation to a very particular swimming action: a wide rolling motion generated by the combination of a flattened body section and a large paddle tail. This lateral rocking movement is pronounced enough to be felt in the rod during retrieve, like a crankbait. The lure's flanks thus play on visual contrasts with each oscillation, increasing detection by predators even in slightly turbid water.

The internal weighting, concentrated at the head then tapering toward the body, acts as a keel and stabilizes the lure at high retrieve speeds. You can retrieve fast without the Replicant fouling, which facilitates rapid prospecting of large areas early in the session.

The rotating belly hook system: fewer unhooking incidents during fights

The main innovation of this version is the rotating treble belly hook system. The hook can pivot freely during the fish's runs, which limits the leverage effects responsible for unhooking late in the fight. On pike especially, whose rushes are brutal and unpredictable, this system provides concrete advantage over a classical fixed rig. The Ghost Ayu color can be a real game changer especially when predators chase crucian carp or tench.
