Product description
Our take
The Xprat Fish ticks every box of a modern finesse bait: a striking sprat profile, mobile body and slits that take both a weedless rig and a centred jighead. On educated fish, at sea as in freshwater, that level of detail often makes the difference. It is one of the few soft lures we reach for as readily for bass as for a tricky zander.
The essentials
- Finesse profile inspired by a real sprat
- Realistic body: fins, embossed scales and a Sakura eye
- Dorsal and ventral slits for a weedless rig or a centred jighead
- Rear channel to insert a rattle and add sound
- Safe PVC, free of phthalates and bisphenol A, with built-in attractant
- 2 sizes: 90 mm (4.2 g, pack of 6) and 115 mm (7.2 g, pack of 5)
- Sea and freshwater: bass, zander, perch
- Designed with Nicolas Bianchini
A realistic finesse bait for tricky fish
A body that moves at the slightest input
The very fine caudal peduncle sets the Xprat Fish moving on the slightest input, even on slow animations or dead stick. That mobility, typical of the Safe PVC body, mimics the nervousness of a small baitfish and triggers hesitant followers. The built-in attractant, anchovy-led, lengthens the time a fish holds the lure in its mouth. You fish margins, drop-offs and spots where conventional lures spook fish too quickly.
Weedless, jighead or drop shot, your choice
The dorsal and ventral slits guide the hook point for a truly weedless Texas rig, or centre a jighead perfectly. In both 90 mm and 115 mm, the Xprat Fish rigs as well on a dart jig head for fishing on the drop as on a round head for straight retrieve and the vertical. The rear channel takes a rattle when the water is stained or the fish are active. To match the rig to the depth, pick from our jigheads and hooks.
