A casting reel seat with a trigger, simple and effective

The Fuji T-DPS reel seat is highly sought after for two types of builds: slow jigging blanks, and conventional casting builds on very large diameter blanks, notably for catfish.

It is fitted with a shim of the right size or with the RG-SLJ-45.

From blank to handle: building with the T-DPS

Size 20 or 22: measure first

The T-DPS is a casting reel seat. The reel sits on top and your index finger rests on the trigger when you cast. It comes in size 20 and size 22, and that number is the inside diameter in millimetres. So the blank diameter at that spot decides. Measure before you order! The 22 is a bit bigger and a bit heavier, 36 g against 33 g for the 20.

29 mm rear grips to finish the handle

The T-DPS is available with 29 mm rear grips. It makes life easier when you build a full handle. To compare lengths and materials (EVA, cork, carbon), browse our rear grips. After that, the build stays classic, with glue, reaming and sanding.
