One of the most refined jig heads in the Fox Rage range. What distinguishes it from classic round heads is its tapered profile that descends fast and cuts water cleanly, without drift, which really changes vertical presentation. The finish is solid: the paint holds up to impacts, the eyes don't come off. A good head to have in rotation.

The Fox Rage Eel Head stands out from classic round or conical jig heads with its elongated, tapered profile that imitates an eel's head. This shape generates very low water resistance during descent, which allows the rig to reach target depth quickly without lateral drift, even in slight current. On vertical fishing for zander or perch spots detected on the sounder, this characteristic allows you to maintain presentation in the vertical axis of the fish more precisely than with a round head that drifts more. On linear retrieves, the low water resistance of the head allows for sharp animations and jerky pulls that trigger reflex strikes, without the head's resistance breaking the animation rhythm. The Eel Head is also suited to feeding fish hunting, where retrieve speed and rig reactivity are essential to intercept active predators on the surface.
Imitative finish and resistance: two rarely combined arguments
The Fox Rage Eel Head pushes the finish level well beyond what most jig heads offer in terms of realism. The 3D eyes with yellow pupil and Fox Rage logo are glued durably and resist repeated impacts with submerged obstacles. The engraved mouth on the front reinforces the overall mimicry, and the silver flakes on the top of the head add an inciting holographic signal visible at distance. The two-tone paint coating, natural or tiger, is particularly resistant to chipping, which is a concrete advantage on intensive fishing where the head regularly hits the bottom or rocky structures.
