Product description
Trebuchet 13' UFR Special Edition. A tournament rod that is also designed for fishing.
UFR stands for Ultra Fast Recovery as this is the characteristic of the blank. During casting, after releasing the lead, the tip returns quickly to the straight position with very little bounce for better alignment of the guides as the lead flies. This facilitates line movement. We've achieved this by lightening the tip and stiffening the top of the heel. The heel is a little different from other trebuchets in that we replaced the 3k weave with the 1k weave as part of our weight optimization. Power is close to that of our Aviator TE.
