The story of the brand

Born in Berlin, built for predator fishing

Nays was born in Berlin in 2019. Its founders, Dustin Schöne and Marcel Mandry, shared one idea: to give fishing a young, modern image. Dustin Schöne comes from the film world. He directed music videos for years before turning his camera to fishing, especially in Norway.

The brand's first soft bait is the PRDTR, a shad made for zander and pike. It left its mark on the first edition of Zander Pro, a contest won by Team Nays with, among other fish, a 101 cm zander caught on this lure. The brand has since released a 2.0 version.

Today the Nays catalogue runs from finesse soft baits to the jointed TRN 190 swimbait, with spinnerbaits and chatterbaits in between. The brand also makes clothing. It shares much of its world on video, on YouTube and Instagram, where the founders film their sessions.
