Product description
Our opinion on the Fox Rage Ti Pro Harness
One of the reference rigs for arming large Fox Rage soft lures. What distinguishes it from classic rigs is the integrated ventral weight that balances the lure on the titanium cable: descent is clean, the lure swims straight, and automatic release on hookset protects the lure material from mechanical stress during fights. Premium finish, you feel it in hand.
What you need to know
- Titanium cable 35kg strength: robustness and anti-twist flexibility
- Corkscrew attachment: anchors into soft lure head, stable retention during casting and swimming
- Integrated ventral weight: balances the lure and ensures natural descent
- Release on hookset: the harness detaches from the lure to protect the material and optimize hook anchorage
- Size 10-15cm: single hook size 1, 4g ventral weight
- Size 15-20cm: single hook size 1, 6g ventral weight
- Size 20-25cm: single hook size 1/0, 8g ventral weight
On the water: ventral balancing and titanium cable for demanding lures
The Fox Rage Ti Pro Harness answers a specific need: arming large soft lures with a rig that preserves their swimming action while guaranteeing sufficient strength during fights with large pike. The 35kg titanium cable offers the flexibility needed to not constrain lure movements, while resisting repeated twists during animations and pike teeth during fights. The corkscrew attachment anchors into the soft lure head and maintains the attachment point in stable position during casting and swimming, without parasite rotation that would disturb the rig's trajectory.
The ventral weight is the central technical argument of this rig. Positioned under the lure's belly, it advantageously replaces classic head weighting on soft lures that already have their own swimming profile. It stabilizes the overall setup by keeping the lure's belly oriented downward during descent, which preserves the lure's natural action without creating imbalance. The weight is proportional to rig size: 4g for the 10-15cm format, 6g for 15-20cm and 8g for 20-25cm. Finally, the release system on hookset allows the harness to detach from the lure upon strike, which protects the soft material from tears caused by mechanical stress during fights and guarantees better hook anchorage in the fish's mouth.
