Our take on the Fuji ACSM
For us, the Fuji ACSM is a casting reel seat cut for comfort. It glues straight onto the blank, no shim needed. No headaches!

Choosing the diameter and fitting the ACSM
The inside diameter just below the blank diameter
Designed by Fuji in 2007 with a more aggressive shape, the ACSM needs no shim. Measure the blank where the reel seat will be glued, then pick the inside diameter just below. A blank at 12.8 mm there? Go for the 12.5 mm. The inside diameter is readable on the back of the reel seat, so no guesswork.
Then the reamer does the job. You widen the inside so the reel seat slides down into contact with the blank, right where you want it. That said, it stays light work, so don't skip several diameters. All that's left is to glue it, aligned with the spine of the blank, and close the build with a finish ring.
Compatible with 27 mm grips
The ACSM works with 27 mm grips, so your handle choice stays open. For a ready-made build, there is the Handle Kit ACSM 16 Split Grip. The trigger and its notch keep your finger in contact with the blank, which helps you feel the bites.
On the look side, the stock locking nut does the job. To personalize it, swap it for a KDPS dressed up to your taste. And if you want something darker, check out the ACSM16 Dark Emperor.
