Product description
Our take
The Xprat Shad is the "shad" version of the Xprat range: where the Xprat Fish plays finesse, this one goes for volume and vibration. Its tail kicks in from the first centimetres, even on a slow retrieve, and sends out a clear signal that pulls fish in from a distance. A realistic, versatile shad we like as much for zander as for bass.

The realistic shad of the Xprat range
A swim that starts right away
The caudal peduncle is designed to start the swim from the first centimetres of retrieve, even at very low speed. You get a vibration that imitates a baitfish and triggers predators, including in stained water. That stability holds whatever the animation, from straight retrieve to the vertical. To rig it, pick a jighead matched to its size among our jigheads and hooks.
Realistic, sonic and versatile
The body carries the Xprat range codes: dorsal, pectoral and anal fins, embossed scales and a soft Safe PVC free of phthalates and bisphenol A. A channel at the back of the ventral slit lets you add a rattle when you want a noisier lure. In 110 and 125 mm, it covers most situations at sea as in freshwater. If you prefer a slimmer profile for wary fish, find its cousin the Xprat Fish soft lure.
