Ideal casting rod for Drift and lift fishing for Pike and Sea bass.
The MBR 7108 is a surprisingly versatile rod. Despite the power of this rod, the tip is softer than other Heavy rods, making it flexible enough to cast Carolina assemblies or jigs. Anglers also use it with great success with oversized spinnerbaits, to pit jigs and to get big bass out of weedbeds. Pike anglers use it for large bucktail spinners. Salmon anglers use it to drift bait. And offshore anglers even use it for tarpon and big snook. All in all, it's an excellent fishing tool. Perhaps its only limitation is the lack of time you have to hunt all these different species.
