Product description

The WKS Lighthouse 904 joins the Prodigy Workshop Series with a clear mission: to offer river enthusiasts a tool capable of meeting the demands of trout and grayling fishing. This 9-foot #4 blank has been selected for its versatility and its ability to handle delicate fishing at short and medium range.
Whether you are fishing dry flies or sight-nymphing, it delivers strict line control, essential for steering a precise drift or laying down a long leader with accuracy.

The guide train is composed of a Fuji Torzite T2 stripping guide and Rodbuilders’ Republic R-SFG316 tunnel guides (316 stainless steel with Titanium plating). Built on the spine with single-foot guides, thus limiting the number of wraps and the amount of epoxy, it preserves the original action and the lively character of the blank. This configuration increases the blank’s stability after the cast, eliminating unwanted vibrations that impair accuracy.

Aesthetic details and fishing comfort have been given special attention to make the WKS LH904-4 as pleasing to look at as it is to fish with. The Top Flor half-wells cork grip offers density and smoothness that disappear in the hand, while the reel seat with its wood insert and Rodbuilders Republic engravings underlines the artisanal character of the series. On the water, this blank reveals a wide working range; it easily accepts a DT3 line for the finest approaches while retaining a healthy power reserve to safely manage fights with larger fish. Supplied with its cordura tube and protective sock.
