The Perch is an abundant predator in freshwater and a prime target when you want to start fishing with soft lures. They often live in shoals, so it's great fun to tickle them with small soft lures mounted on light lead heads weighing from 1 to 5 grams. Behind bridge piers, close to an Obstacle, not far from fry, the Perch is capable of going into a feeding frenzy manifested by an explosion in the surface area of Live baits fleeing their predator. The angler will keep his soft lure moving in a straight line or by making it bounce along the bottom of the water. The touch of the Perch can be shy or violent, and this fish will often show itself to be combative. The Perch has a fragile mouth which must be protected to avoid injuring it or unhooking the fish during the fight. Perch are an important target for beginners and experienced anglers alike.

Compatible blanks

Once again, you need to use very specific Blanks for this small fish if you want to fish properly. They must be able to propel light-weight lures (TP from 1 to 6grs + small soft lure), with an excellent sound to detect the slightest touch, the slightest scrape. The blank will have a fast action to guide the lure but will be round enough in combat to cushion head strikes and avoid tearing the fish's mouth.

There's no need for a long heel for this type of fishing.handling for underarm throwing. Assembly is also favoured.split grip rather than a full handle for theweight gain. The first segment of the range is occupied by ceramic Guides Alconite and Inox frameThey offer excellent value for money and are ideal for occasional use. The frame of these Guides is made of Inox with an anti-corrosion coating. The Alconite ceramic provides good glide and a high heat dissipation rate for the braid, but take care not to spool dry fly braid onto these guides. The second level of the range is occupied by Guide with armature.Inox and SIC ceramics. In this Guide range, the frame is still made of coated stainless steel, but the ceramic is made of Fuji SIC, which offers better glide and greater resistance. Finally, the top-of-the-range Fuji range is represented by Guide rings inTitanium-Torzite. The Titanium frame is much lighter and, above all, totally insensitive to corrosion. The ceramic is made of Torzite, another Fuji proprietary material that enables the braid to glide perfectly over the ceramic.
