The problem with Pike is that you often have to use big lures or move a large volume of water to interest very large fish. The rods used are therefore quite powerful, and casting half-chokes all day long can be tiring and less enjoyable when fighting modest fish. All the more so as on certain stretches of water, it can be complicated to lure Pike with very large lures when they are focused on small prey. That's why, when targeting Pike with a single rod, it's a good idea to start with a versatile rod of intermediate power. By "intermediate" we mean lures up to 100g.

Matching blanks
We all have our fetish lures. The ones you believe in, the ones you know how to animate, the ones you've already caught fish with on the waters you fish. With these lures, you'll have no trouble finding a power range. In addition, you need to think about the lures you want to try out. We expect the Blank to begood launcher, versatile, responsive and with a good length/power ratio. Here are 3 blanks from different brands that are very popular for this practice:
NFC SJ 706 IM 2m13 15-40g: A very versatile Blank which can be used with bibbaits, frogs, stickbaits and, of course, soft lures. For hard lures, its action makes it more swimbait than jerkbait.
Phénix C764 MH 2m28 15-50g: A longer blank for greater casting distance and a little more power. With its muscular tip, this lure can easily handle jerkbaits, even if its length doesn't make it ideal for that purpose. Occasionally, it will accept a little more than its power range.
Rainshadow REVFS 76MH 2m28 30-110g We couldn't leave out this classic Pike lure. It's almost a big bait, as it can cast 20cm lures, but its versatility is interesting. It covers a huge range of uses. For its power, it's progressive enough to make fights even more fun.
Please let us know the desired length between butt and trigger so that we can adjust the rings. You can also ask us to change the color of the handle kit rings (while stocks last).
We offer 3Guide packs Fujiof different finishes, corresponding to different budgets and frequencies of use. The first segment of the range is occupied by GuideAlconite ceramics and Inox frameworksThey offer excellent value for money and are ideal for occasional use. The frame of these Guides is made of Inox with an anti-corrosion coating. The Alconite ceramic provides good glide and a high heat dissipation rate for the braid, but take care not to spool dry fly braid onto these guides. The second level of the range is occupied by Guide with armature.Inox and SIC ceramics. In this Guide range, the frame is still made of coated stainless steel, but the ceramic is made of Fuji SIC, which offers better glide and greater resistance. Finally, the top-of-the-range Fuji range is represented by Guide rings inTitanium-Torzite. The Titanium frame is much lighter and, above all, totally insensitive to corrosion. The ceramic is made of Torzite, another Fuji proprietary material that enables the braid to glide perfectly over the ceramic. This ultra-high-performance ceramic requires less material, enabling the use of smaller tunnel guides. Less weight = greater sensitivity and performance.
