Big bait includes bothlarge soft lures, tubes, swimbaits, glidebaits, large jerkaits and spinnerbaits. Fishing 'big bait' doesn't necessarily mean fishing heavy, but rather moving a large volume of water through the action of the lure. To fish comfortably, you need plenty of power, length and progressiveness.
- Power to cast big lures and fight fish weighing up to 10kg. Length to cast far and hook effectively. Progressiveness to keep fish on the hook and enjoy Pleasure even on smaller fish.
The same blank can be used for both 'hard' and 'soft' swimbaits, but to maintain good striking efficiency and limit stalling, we recommend progressive blanks for hard lures and more advanced blanks for soft lures.
