Steve, a fishing enthusiast from an early age, I started out on the small rivers near my home, where my dad and I discovered our passion for lure fishing. Later, taking advantage of the summer vacations, I also learned to stalk Seabasses on the lures of the Brittany and Vendée coasts. At the age of 16, I discovered underwater hunting, a real plus, which enabled me to observe and understand the behavior of fish according to positions and currents.
Loving everything to do with manual work, creativity, drawing, design and DIY, I logically came to rodbuilding by repairing my first Guide and then building my first rod.

It was the beginning of a new passion... and new revelations...
I was finally able to fill that technical gap in my used equipment. I could imagine, think and create something that suited me, a tool adapted to my needs.

Now, my playground is large. Located in Thouars, in the Deux Sèvres region of France, I mainly paddle the Thouet, Loire and Vienne rivers, from the shore and in a Belly boat. At sea, with my boat, I travel from Capbreton to the Breton coast, to fish for tuna on the hunt. I'm also regularly present in the Gulf of Morbihan, fishing for pollock and Seabass by boat and Belly boat.
I'm sure we'll be able to meet at the water's edge to discuss your future project.

Together, according to your specifications, your needs, your aesthetic and technical desires, we'll create your own unique rod.
From pike-perch, pike and Catfish fishing, in casting or spinning, through carp fishing to all saltwater fishing, pollock, Seabass, exo, tuna etc., I'll take great pleasure in building your rod. Clean, meticulous work down to the smallest detail, coupled with quality assembly.
I can also repair, customize or modify equipment, as well as provide training, from a simple Guide change to a complete rod assembly course. So that you, too, can build your own rod on your own or with someone else. I'll be there if you need me, to help and advise you on your first steps in rodbuilding.

All the components of your rod are chosen by Rodhouse, a local French company made up of enthusiasts like us, who listen to their customers.
