Product description
A versatile spinning rod with a big reserve of power, perfectly suited to fishing for bass and Pike in lily pads or fishing for Sea bass above oyster beds with surface lures.
When you cast into an opening in the cover, you have to pull the fish out of that same hole. There's no getting around that. And when those big bass are really big, your rod has to be solid. Big bass may not have the stamina to last through a long fight, but you won't find a fish that pulls harder for 30 or 40 seconds, especially when it's happening in the cover. It requires a blank with plenty of nerve. Light enough to be used all day, but which reacts quickly with authority. That's exactly where the MBR 705 comes in. It has a fast action with an extra-strong tip, which means that when you move the rod, the fish come with it. It's that simple. It's also a great choice for peacock bass.
