However, the Vanquish comes in a range of sizes and can be used for many different techniques and species, including fishing from the shore with the 4000 and 5000 size casts. The Vanquish's light weight comes from extensive use of Shimano's exclusive Ci4+ composite material. This feature is enhanced by the addition of the Magnumlite rotor, which also contributes to the reel's incredibly low starting inertia. This slow starting inertia is particularly important for finesse fishing and UL techniques. You'll be able to fish these techniques with more precision than ever. Shimano has eliminated backlash in every component, further enhancing the reel's meticulous precision.
