Our take on this neck gaiter

This neck gaiter wears the Rodhouse colors and an original drawing by Peter Perch. It weighs just 30 g. We keep one in a vest pocket all year, since it works in a strong wind as well as under a hot sun.

One tube, many ways to wear it

The multifunction neck gaiter is a simple tube of fabric. It has no seams, so nothing rubs on your skin. Worn low, it covers your neck and the top of your nape. Pulled up over your nose, it covers your face. Folded or rolled, it turns into a bandana or a scarf. You can also close it over the top of your head to make a light hat.

At 50 cm long and 25 cm wide, it leaves enough fabric to switch from one use to another. You change position in a few seconds, without putting your rod down.

The tube folds flat or rolls into a ball. It takes up very little room in a tackle box or a pocket. You can leave one in the car and another in your fishing bag. Among friends, the Rodhouse colors on the drawing also help you tell yours apart.

Which way to wear it for the weather

In hot weather, the light base color is a real plus. A light color is easy to wear under the sun. If you fish in midsummer, pull it up over your nose and cheeks to keep your face in the shade of the fabric. When the wind picks up on the lake or on the boat, keep it around your neck. It blocks the air that comes in through your jacket collar. In winter, double it around your neck or wear it as a hat to keep your head warm.

At 30 g, it slips into a vest pocket or into your bag. It is right at hand as soon as conditions change. The Vintage Tatoo drawing by Peter Perch also gives it a look of its own on the bank. The idea stays the same on a boat or from the bank. You simply adjust the fabric to the weather of the moment.
