Suitable for fish between 10 and 35kg!

This 8'1 (2.46m) blank has all the makings of the ideal 50 Lbs. It offers enough length to allow multiple long Distance casts of lures from 40 to 120 grs and its fast action allows it to popper with ease, even in formed seas. We've opted for a hybrid length, which also saves the angler pain and shortens fights, as well as a Butt-Joint format (1+1) that lets you take it everywhere with you.
The FiftyNiner is fast in animation, progressive in load, robust but light. It's made from a blend of Toray 30T and Korean 24T carbon.
During our tests we exceeded 18 kilos of load at 45 degrees, but this being a 50 Lbs to be used as such, we recommend a max drag of 10 kilos at 45 degrees.
