Fishing has been a part of me for over 25 years, with a stint in the world of competitive spearfishing I rediscovered my first love, Saltwater fishing when I arrived in the Basque Country. And this is where it all begins ...
After discovering Rodbuilding in 2015 with Herri Fishing, (Fabien Lartigue), I took the plunge a few months later.
From there, the story began. The discovery of quality blanks revolutionized the way I fished and reconsidered the use of equipment. As I became more and more specialized techniques were refined and the equipment with them.
Today in Corsica, my fishing has naturally gravitated towards vertical, soft lures and slow trolling.
A Piscaghjola was born between two confinements. The name, fishing rod in the Corsican language, is a nod to a patient who always fished for Trout with his bamboo rod, which he had made himself in his youth. It completely matched the philosophy of my assemblies, which are first and foremost utilitarian, durable and personalized.
