Repairs

It is possible to repair a fishing rod by changing a Guide, repairing broken Blanks on the lower third or the first few centimetres of the tip. However, it is not possible to repair a rod broken too far from the tip (e.g. 30 cm) without radically changing the rod action.

We are unable to sell tips from other brands of commercial fishing rods, as each tip has its own taper and there is nothing standard. If you have purchased a rod tip from Rodhouse, please send us an e-mail.

Yes, to change a fishing rod Guide, you need to cut out the Wrapping with a cutter, then replace it by rewiring and varnishing.
